Al Jawdah Group of Companies: A Legacy of Saudi Industrial Excellence

Introduction: A Cornerstone of National Manufacturing

Al Jawdah Group of Companies stands as a leading national manufacturer and supplier of advanced building material solutions in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Specializing in Porcelain Tiles, Ceramic Tiles, Plastic Pipes and Fittings, and Electric Water Heaters, the group provides essential infrastructure for residential, commercial, and mega-scale industrial projects across the GCC.

Since its establishment in 1975, Al Jawdah has evolved from a premier trading house into a fully integrated industrial organization. Known for "Saudi-made" quality, reliability, and long-term value, we remain committed to building the future of the Kingdom in alignment with Saudi Vision 2030.

Who We Are

The legacy of Al Jawdah Group began with Al Omran Group, which built its early success through the wholesale and retail trade of sanitary ware and building materials. Under the leadership of Abdul Rahman Saleh Al-Omran and Abdul Karim Saleh Al-Omran, the company became one of the largest importers of world-class sanitary products in the Middle East.

Al Jawdah group of companies

Driven by an “Arabic Way of Thinking”—a philosophy rooted in understanding local needs while adopting global standards—the group strategically shifted toward manufacturing. This led to the creation of four sophisticated industrial pillars under the Al Jawdah name, creating a diversified portfolio that supports:

  • Contractors and Developers managing high-volume projects.

  • Government and Semi-government Entities building national infrastructure.

  • Distributors and Wholesalers throughout the GCC.

Industrial Capabilities: State-of-the-Art Production

Our manufacturing complex is located in the Second Industrial City of Riyadh. These facilities are engineered to deliver consistent quality and scalability for specialized projects.

The Power of the SACMI PH 6500

In 2017, Al Jawdah Porcelain and Ceramic concluded a massive investment in Riyadh by installing the SACMI PH 6500 Hydraulic Press from the renowned Imola series. National Record: This remains the largest PH 6500 press ever installed in Saudi Arabia. Technical Precision: It features a maximum pressing force of 64,000 KN and an inter-column clearance of 2,450 mm, specifically designed for the manufacture of very large-format tiles. High-Volume Output: With two analogous PH 6500 lines supported by high-performance spray driers and mills, our facility is capable of producing 40,000 m² of tile per day.

Our Core Product Divisions

1. Al Jawdah Porcelain & Ceramic (The Surface Division)

Al Jawdah operates two distinct, high-capacity plants dedicated to premium surfacing solutions. By separating our Ceramic and Porcelain production lines, we ensure specialized quality control and the ability to meet diverse architectural requirements.

A. Al Jawdah Ceramics (Est. 1995)

The Ceramic plant was established as the foundational industrial pillar of the group. Since 1995, it has been a primary provider of high-quality ceramic wall and floor tiles designed for the unique environmental demands of the Saudi Arabian and Middle Eastern markets.

  • Product Range: A vast portfolio of ceramic solutions including wall tiles, floor tiles, and specialized decorative accessories.

  • Decorative Excellence: The plant features dedicated lines for Listello, skirting, and borders, allowing clients to achieve a fully coordinated and matched aesthetic for interior projects.

  • Market Growth: The company has undergone continuous expansion to remain the leading provider for residential and commercial projects across the GCC.

B. Al Jawdah Porcelain (The SACMI Investment)

To dominate the high-end building solutions market, Al Jawdah Porcelain Company was launched with a focus on superior durability and large-format production. This plant represents one of the most significant private industrial investments in Riyadh.

  • The SACMI PH 6500 Advantage: In a landmark move, the group invested in the SACMI PH 6500 Imola Series, the largest hydraulic press ever installed in Saudi Arabia. This machine changed the manufacturing landscape of the Kingdom with:

    • Maximum Pressing Force: An immense 64,000 KN.

    • Inter-column Clearance: 2,450 mm, specifically engineered for the manufacture of very large-format tiles.

  • Production Power: Following the installation of the first PH 6500 in July 2015, a second analogous press was added. This dual-line setup allows for a staggering production capacity of 40,000 m² per day.

  • End-to-End European Technology: Beyond the presses, the plant is equipped with high-performance spray driers and two advanced mills, ensuring the consistency of the porcelain body and the longevity of the final product.

2. Al Jawdah Plastic Pipes & Fittings (Est. 1994)

Founded in 1994, this division is a critical supplier to the Kingdom’s infrastructure, telecommunications, and agricultural sectors. We specialize in the extrusion and injection molding of high-grade plastic polymers.

  • Material Expertise: Production of PVC, UPVC, CPVC, and PP-R pipes and fittings.

  • Diverse Applications: Engineered for high and low-pressure water networks, sewage extensions, electrical and telephone conduits, and large-scale agricultural irrigation.

  • Standards Compliance: Every product is rigorously tested to meet the Saudi Arabian Standards Organization (SASO) requirements, as well as international metrology benchmarks.

3. Al Jawdah Electric Water Heaters (Est. 1999)

Since beginning commercial production in 1999, Al Jawdah has become a household name for reliability in water heating. Our specialized facility in the Second Industrial City of Riyadh combines safety with high-volume output.

  • Annual Capacity: Up to 400,000 units per year.

  • Versatile Configurations: We manufacture heaters in sizes from 30 to 300 liters.

  • Engineering Styles: Our range includes horizontal and vertical-fashioned models, ground-style units, and advanced Central Heating Systems, all designed to withstand the hard water conditions often found in the region.

Caring for the environment goes beyond recycling — it's embedded in everything we do. Our strategic processes are designed to optimize resource efficiency, minimize waste, conserve natural assets, and reduce our environmental footprint.

Water Conservation: As part of our commitment, Saudi Ceramics supports national water conservation efforts by manufacturing water-saving toilets, helping to preserve one of our most vital resources for future generations. Water Conservation: As part of our commitment, Saudi Ceramics supports national water conservation efforts by manufacturing water-saving toilets, helping to preserve one of our most vital resources for future generations.

A recent study revealed that water-saving toilets use only 3 to 6 liters of water per flush. If all toilets across Saudi Arabia were replaced with our advanced water-saving models, the Kingdom could save approximately 300 million cubic meters of water annually. This is equivalent to the entire yearly output of the Al-Jubail Desalination Plant—the largest facility of its kind in the world—highlighting the immense impact such a transition could have on national water sustainability.

For this reason, Al Jawdah Ceramics and Porcelains has intensified its efforts to redesign and upgrade all of its toilet models to be more water-efficient, reaffirming its position as a regional leader in water conservation and sustainable innovation.
