Company Profile
Al Jawdah Group of Companies
Al Jawdah Group of Companies (مجموعة الجودة) is a Saudi manufacturer of porcelain tiles, ceramic tiles, plastic pipes and fittings, and electric water heaters, operating from the Second Industrial City of Riyadh. The group traces its origins to 1994 and today runs four manufacturing divisions supplying contractors, government entities, distributors and wholesalers across Saudi Arabia and the GCC.
The group supplies residential, commercial and infrastructure projects, and its products are tested to Saudi Arabian Standards Organization (SASO) requirements.
Al Jawdah Group began as a trading business. Under Abdul Rahman Saleh Al-Omran and Abdul Karim Saleh Al-Omran, the Al Omran name became established in the wholesale and retail supply of sanitary ware and building materials, importing for projects across the Kingdom and the wider region.
The move into manufacturing followed a straightforward commercial judgement: the Saudi market was buying imported building materials that could be produced locally, closer to the projects consuming them. Four manufacturing divisions were established under the Al Jawdah name, and the group today serves:
– Contractors and developers working on high-volume residential and commercial projects
– Government and semi-government entities delivering national infrastructure
– Distributors and wholesalers across Saudi Arabia and the GCC
– Retail customers through showrooms across the Kingdom
Al Jawdah’s production facilities are located in the Second Industrial City of Riyadh, with separate plants for ceramics, porcelain, plastic pipes and water heaters.
Al Jawdah Porcelain operates two SACMI PH 6500 hydraulic presses from the Imola series at its Riyadh plant. Each press delivers a maximum pressing force of 64,000 KN with an inter-column clearance of 2,450 mm, a configuration built specifically for very large-format tile.
The presses are supported by high-performance spray driers and two mills, which govern the consistency of the porcelain body and, in practice, how closely one production batch matches the next.
The ceramic plant was the group's first manufacturing operation. It produces wall and floor tiles for the conditions found in Saudi Arabia and the wider Middle East, in formats including 20x20, 30x30, 30x60 and 40x40 cm, with dedicated lines for listello, skirting and border pieces so a specification can be matched across a whole interior.
Al Jawdah Porcelain was established for large-format and high-durability surfaces, and represents one of the larger private industrial investments in Riyadh. Production covers 60×60 and 60×120 cm formats in matt and polished finishes, on the SACMI pressing lines described above.
Founded in 1994, this division supplies the Kingdom’s water, drainage, telecommunications and agricultural sectors through extrusion and injection molding.
– Materials: PVC, uPVC, CPVC and PP-R pipes and fittings
– Applications: high and low-pressure water networks, sewage, electrical and telephone conduit, agricultural irrigation
– Standards: tested to Saudi Arabian Standards Organization (SASO) requirements
Commercial production began in 1999. The plant in the Second Industrial City of Riyadh produces up to 400,000 units per year in capacities from 30 to 300 liters, in horizontal, vertical and ground-standing models as well as central heating systems, built for the hard water found across much of the Kingdom.
Sanitary ware is where the group began, and it remains part of the range. Products are supplied through Al Jawdah showrooms and for project supply.
